Description of Mini Stitch Cutter
Stitch Cutter is used for general suture removal. Appearing similar to a scalpel, this instrument requires no handle and is a simple and convenient, way to remove basic sutures. The slightly curved, flat, bull nose tip slides under the suture and when rotated, gently removes the suture from the site. The mini stainless steel stitch cutter can be used with handle No.3L, 7 & 9. Alternatively, it is also available on pre-mounted ABS disposable plastic handle.
Also available in Long stitch cutter is made of stainless steel and in short stitch cutter which is made of carbon steel.
